Gas Heater Safety Measures and Precautions
Indoor gas heaters are very safe when properly maintained and used as instructed. Keep your gas heater safe by having it serviced by a qualified gasfitter. Any signs of abnormality with your heater whether it isn’t functioning the way it use too or some sort of damage has occurred to your gas heater, we recommend you schedule a service with the Gas Heater Specialist.
Unflued gas heaters produce heat through burning gas fuel. When gas fuel is burnt, air pollutants and water vapour are also produced. This means that an unflued gas heater has the potential to cause indoor air pollution in your home.
It is crucial that you are aware of the correct and safe operation of your gas heater. Operation directions can be found on your heater manual provided by the manufacturer of your gas heater. If you have lost your owner’s manual you can find a copy of your heater manual on our website for free.
Servicing and repairs to your heater should only be executed by a qualified gas heater repairer. Never attempt to fix a gas appliance or attempt to service your gas heater yourself or allow unqualified personnel to attempt to fix it for you.
